Iron 50 mg provides 50 mg of elemental iron per capsule.
The iron is bound to amino acids from wholemeal rice concentrate for particularly high absorption and embedded in a herbal mixture of curly amper and parsley.
Bread, meat and vegetables are the most important sources of iron in view of today's eating habits. From cereals and vegetables, 5 - 10 % of the supplied iron is absorbed by the body. Meat provides about 30 %, soya beans 20 % and fish about 15 %.
Iron-rich foods include oysters, soya flour, millet, liver (veal/beef), lentils, white beans and oatmeal.
