This Solaray product is based on Two-Stage, Time-Release Technology. This means, that 50 % of the contents is released immediately, and the other half within the next 12 hours. By taking two capsules during mealtime, you can guarantee a continuous flow of Vitamin C for your body.
The product contains calciumcarbonate and magnesiumoxide, to build a buffer against the natural acidity of Vitamin C. A capsule contains 500 mg Vitamin C and 250 mg bioflavonoids. Bioflavonoids are water-miscable substances, which are often found in fresh fruits and vegetables, next to Vitamin C. Bioflavonoids increase the absorption of Vitamin C in the body.
