Dehydroepiandrosteron (DHEA) is a hormone which is produced by the adrenal glands. This is the steroid that is most commonly available in the human body. Our natural production of DHEA decreases with age. This can contribute to the ageing process.  DHEA is a frontrunner for the hormones testosteron and estrogen, which regulate our metabolsim and procereation porcesses.
