MK-7 (Menaquinon-7) versus MK-4 (Menaquinon-4)

MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is a particularly active form of vitamin K2 from natto, which is absorbed by the body 10 times better than vitamin K1, e.g. from spinach. Mk-7 is particularly important for certain bone proteins that are required for bone formation. For this reason, a combination of calcium and vitamin D3 is important. MK-7 also promotes normal blood clotting.

Vitamin K is a group of similar compounds that play an important role in blood clotting and bone health. Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) is particularly important for bone mineralization and calcium metabolism. Menaquinone ensures that lime does not accumulate in the soft tissue but on the bones. Half-life of Vitamin K2-MK7

Studies show that menaquinone-7 (MK-7) has both better bioavailability and a longer half-life than vitamin K. MK-7 contains the pure natural product menaquinone-7, which is derived from fermented soybeans.

Vitamin MK7 or MK4

Although the effects of MkK4 and MK7 appear to be very similar, MK7 is clearly the superior form of vitamin K2.
